General Transport Conditions

The transportation of passengers on the motor vessels of Toscana Mini Crociere is governed by the following rules:

  1. Boarding Presentation: Passengers are required to present themselves at the boarding area thirty minutes prior to the scheduled departure time. Fifteen minutes before the time communicated on board by the captain through the crew or the intercom system, but only in the case of a mini-cruise with an intermediate stop.
  2. The passenger must travel with a valid ticket, which can be obtained at authorized ticket offices/agencies or directly on the ship. The ticket, unless otherwise agreed in writing, is valid for the day of issue and must be kept for the entire duration of the journey, until exiting the port area, as the ticket itself fulfills the fiscal obligations.
  3. Failure to present at boarding: Failure to present at boarding by the time specified in the previous point one does not entitle the passenger to any refund.
  4. Schedules: All schedules will be confirmed on board by the captain via the intercom system or through the onboard hostess. In case of any doubts, please consult a crew member before leaving the ship. TOSCANA MINI CROCIERE reserves the right to make changes to programs and/or schedules in the event of unfavorable weather and sea conditions, force majeure, or technical-operational needs.
  5. Onboard Command: From the moment of boarding until disembarkation, the passenger is subject to the instructions given by the ship's Captain.
  6. Passenger Regulations: Children are under the direct responsibility of their parents or guardians, who must ensure their supervision, boarding, and disembarking, including that of strollers and prams.
  7. Passengers may bring their dogs, provided they notify us at the time of booking and bring a leash and an emergency muzzle.
  8. Any accidental events, damages, or injuries involving passengers must be immediately reported to the onboard staff for proper documentation and declarations to be submitted to the relevant authorities (Article 182 of the Navigation Code). The company disclaims any responsibility for incidents that occur on board and are not reported to the staff before disembarking. Therefore, complaints submitted after disembarkation will not be considered.
  9. Inability to Dock: In the event of inability to disembark at one of the scheduled ports due to force majeure, the passenger may disembark at one of the subsequent stops, with no right to a ticket refund.
  10. Cancellations: In the event of a trip cancellation before departure due to force majeure, the passenger is entitled to a full refund of the ticket price, without the right to any further compensation. TOSCANA MINI CROCIERE reserves the right to cancel the trip before its start due to force majeure, pursuant to Law No. 1084 of 27/12/1997, with no obligation other than the refund of the amounts paid. If the ship's journey is interrupted due to force majeure, the ticket price will be owed in proportion to the distance traveled. For a refund, tickets must be presented at the same point of sale where they were purchased, no later than three days from the date of the trip cancellation.
  11. Delays: No compensation or reimbursement will be provided in the event of delays in the scheduled departure or arrival times.
  12. Cancellation by the Customer: In the event of cancellation by the customer, TOSCANA MINI CROCIERE will refund the full amount paid only if the cancellation is made 48 hours before the start of the trip. Unless otherwise specified in the individual trip terms.
  13. Refunds: The ticket refund will be processed by the agency or ticket office that issued the ticket.
  14. Sea Tours and Circumnavigations: Sea tours, circumnavigations, and stops are always optional and subject to weather and sea conditions, as judged at the sole discretion of the ship's Captain. Any failure to carry out these activities due to force majeure or technical-operational needs of TOSCANA MINI CROCIERE does not entitle the passenger to a refund.
  15. The ticket is nominative: it is non-transferable without prior consent from TOSCANA MINI CROCIERE.
  16. The purchase of the ticket is proof of the passenger's acceptance of the above-described General Conditions.
  17. It is strictly forbidden to transport dangerous goods of any kind on board. Offenders will be reported to the competent authorities.
  18. The passenger is entitled to carry one piece of hand luggage weighing no more than 10 kg. For excess luggage, an additional ticket must be purchased at the current applicable rates.
  19. Publicity of the General Conditions: These conditions are published on the TOSCANA MINI CROCIERE website (www.TOSCANAMINICROCIERE.it) and are displayed at the direct ticket offices under the TOSCANA MINI CROCIERE brand, as well as on the company-owned motor vessels.
  20. Complaints: Any complaints or grievances, except for incidents that occurred on board (which must be reported to the staff before disembarking from the motor vessel), can be sent to: info@toscanaminicrociere.it
  21. For anything not explicitly described, reference is made solely to Italian National Law and the Navigation Code.
