Giglio and Coves

With a coastal navigation along the Maremma | Departures with the motorboats ULISSE (coastal navigation) or La SUPERBA (passing through the Formiche di Grosseto) | every SATURDAY | from Castiglione, departure at 8:30 AM – return around 7:00 PM | from Talamone, departure at 9:50 AM – return around 6:20 PM.

Leaving Castiglione d.P., we will coast the Maremma and the territory of the Uccellina Regional Park, passing by the tiny and little-known Formiche di Grosseto (stopping at Talamone if on the MN Ulisse) before heading towards the island of Giglio. We will stop at Giglio until around 2:30 PM, allowing time to enjoy the island's "landside" beauties. In the early afternoon, we will depart for a boat tour around the island, discovering the most wild and picturesque coves, with a stop for swimming from the boat (weather and sea conditions permitting). During the land stop, it will be possible to go to the beach and explore independently or take guided tours, either free or with our guides. Lunch can be enjoyed either on board or on land. On the return from Giglio, we will coast the Uccellina Park and the mouth of the Ombrone River. A 3h30′ stop at Giglio + boat excursion.

NB: This route is operated by both motorboats depending on the days of the week and the company's logistics: PLEASE VERIFY AVAILABILITY BY PHONE OTHER THAN SATURDAY.

WHY CHOOSE OUR SHIPS: Our philosophy is to enhance the territory rather than offer long and boring navigations. With *La Superba*, we will pass through the Formiche di Grosseto, while with the motorboat *Ulisse*, we will enjoy a coastal navigation with a brief stop at the fortified port of Talamone, a small gem among the coastal fortifications. We will offer numerous insights and opportunities for landscape observation, thanks to the commentary from Guides, Biologists, Historians, and Geologists always present on board.
